Every day, I run into
ASSHOLES, it seems.....
I encountered THIS ONE
on America Online while posting some useful information for battered women on
the AOL Message Boards with the following caption:

In some cases, a
Battered Spouse perceives she has no choice in matters such as this, because
REPORTING the SOB to the police would CERTAINLY get her - and perhaps her
children - KILLED, if the report does not succeed in resolution of the problem
(bringing POLICE into the picture in these situations is almost CERTAINLY a
recipe to stir-up even more severe abuse). There is an EXCELLENT Pastoral

This dirt-bag was apparently online at the
same time as I was, and proceeded to harass me with a barrage of one-line
Instant Messages (IMs). I told him that he was an asshole, that if I got ANY
emails from him I would have the Federal Marshalls at his door (Any threats
by E-mail fall under Federal Statutes, and I can and have done
that in the past to other Assholes, and if he stews over my
upbraiding here and tries it, he'll find out that I know people in the
Attorney General's Office).
I told him that this page would be posted here. DID I LIE?
There was no E-mail
from the DipShit - or else he would have been promptly arrested. Sometimes -
even though we are WAY above the meager intellect of the ASSHOLES we run
into - we have to deal with people on their own (as Scientology calls it)
"tone" level. Indeed, Dianetics which is a proven science, teaches that the
most effective communication can be had by responding with a person JUST
ABOVE his / her tone level. This is called "The ARC
Triangle") So I had to shrink to the level of a millipede to even comment on
his comments.
Scientology (I am a
Christian Scientologist - not to be confused with Christian Science) teaches
that:

"tone" level is so Apathetic that he can shrink to Anti-Semitism; i.e.
his pathetic inference: ".... a

when referring to the Jewish people; and NOT to have the BALLS to
just say it outright, it just twists my knickers in a knot - so instead of
tracing the guy's IM address (I subscribe to 'NetSnoop) and knocking on his
door and bashing his puny brains out with a stick - THIS IS HOW I "VENT" -
by doing this piece - Then I'll
go to my
online store and get myself something cool. The Internet is a wonderful
medium, don't you think?
In any event, I
must admit to my faults - I AM "a preacher" - of sorts. I am
(to this Asshole) ".... a delusional piece of
humanoid crap". I'm just living up to the SOB's expectations - at
just a tad above his tone level, and with an intellect he couldn't fathom in
his wildest fantasies. I'm human. I have my faults. Like the Apostle Paul
said, (here I go preaching again) ".... I am CHIEF
{sinner} among you".... well....
maybe not THE Chief, but "up there", nonetheless.

So this guy earned
my wrath for the moment. It has cost me several hours of valuable time that
could have been spent in the pursuit of paying the rent.... not that that
should be a problem, since I just won the
Royal British Lottery! But after this tirade is over, I know that I'll
feel better - that is, unless I run into ANOTHER flaming, gaping ASSHOLE.
I would like to
have a motto that I could live up to. That motto would say,
"NO ASSHOLES GO UNPUNISHED".
I could spend
eternity at this keyboard.... and who am I to punish them? In the Bible, II
Peter 3 it says that in the last days, people
"....willingly are ignorant...". That's like STUPID ON PURPOSE.
I've got news for Peter. It has been my empirical observation that SOME
PEOPLE ARE BORN STUPID, AND THEY WILL STAY STUPID DESPITE ANY EFFORT ON MY
PART. So be it. It's the "... thorn in my side"
God put there to keep me humble.... or if not humble, at least frustrated to
the point that I REFUSE to stop trying. Lord knows! God help me.
And as I was
writing this very page, the Lord put me in touch momentarily with a total
stranger who was reading my posts as I was typing this page....

just read on the "Preachers are Never Abusers". Me? I'm probably what you would
call a "survivor". Born in VA, finished growing up in CA. Married too long to a
Colombian/Italian. I let him live. Found out a few years ago when he went to
visit our daughter, that he is "afraid of ME". After years of mental and verbal
abuse....this was priceless. When my daughter told me that, my response was "as
he should be" LOL Thanks again. Oh, btw, my older sister has been married for
over 30 years to an abuser, and who has managed to segregate her from our family
and friends. She's so long gone there is nothing we can do now.....

I said, I just liked your reply and what you posted. Unfortunately for my sister
though, she won't leave, as she is so brainwashed at this point, she was or
maybe still is seeking psychiatric help and all that goes with it. Her children
are grown and her SB husband is still alive. We could actually go in and remove
her from the house and put her somewhere for counseling, however at the point
she is at, once released, she would go right back. We have family in law
enforcement for over 45 years and they are the ones who have been helping our
family to deal with her. It's sad, but oh so true. I, on the other hand,
survived, as I said in my IM to you. I just happened to turn out that way that I
would not tolerate it one bit. You are right on in what you say though and it
makes me have faith that there are still good guys out there! Take care.

Well, thanks again for the comments. It's
hard for me to fathom how a man can abuse his wife and children - it's so sad!
This is the most prosperous nation on Earth, and people do this - I think - for
ONE reason... they don't love God.
